O’Dell & O’Neal filed an investment fraud recovery case on behalf of Yvonne and Edward Ray. Mr. and Mrs. Ray were steered to Stacy Jamison by their own credit union, IBM Southeastern Employees Credit Union. Mr. Ray retired from IBM after more than 35 yrs. IBMSECU sent an email to its members inviting them to meet with Jamison whom they held out as a trusted financial advisor with CUNA brokerage services. The Rays met with Jamison at the credit union branch office in Cobb County and were instructed to transfer over their life savings to Jamison and CUNA.
Both IBMSECU and CUNA ignored Jamison’s history and outside activities which included a partnership with Christopher Parris, a broker who had been suspended by FNRA. Ultimately, Jamison and/or Parris stole all of the Ray’s money, more than $300,000.
Justin O’Dell and O’Dell & O’Neal have partnered with Jason Doss of The Doss Firm to bring cases against CUNA and IBMSECU in an effort to recover the Rays’ life savings. Both O’Dell and Doss fear that the Rays are not alone and other victims are out there.
